Please join the Chelsea Reform Democratic Club on Thursday, September 19th, 2019 for our monthly general meeting. 

Several important questions will be put to the public in November! On November 5, 2019, New Yorkers will have a chance to amend our Charter — the City’s constitution — by voting on ballot proposals covering a wide variety of issues, from elections to police accountability. 

We will be joined by Ben Yee, civics educator and state committeeman for the 66th Assembly District, who will walk us through these questions. 

Among these provisions are:

• Ranked Choice Voting
• Amend the structure of the Civilian Complaint Review Board
• Amend the structure of the Conflicts of Interest Board
• Set guaranteed minimum budgets for Public Advocate and Borough Presidents
• Provide a notice period for ULURP Land Use applications
